What is General Post?
General Post is a booking agency for freelance film crew. We represent the talent and technicians who work in film and video.
Our people are all independent, experienced and professional Freelance crew. We also have PA's, assistants and entry-level new comers.
 How does it work?
- The Client calls General Post with a brief - do you require an Art Director, Production manager, PA or Editor?. No problem.
- We go through our database of skilled professionals to see who's free within your price range. If needed we'll broker deals between Production Company and Crew member.
- We offer the client a selection of skilled professionals. We look at the work, the rates and the people to determine suitability. It's kind of a match making process.
- Once confirmed we connect the worker with the employer and allow them to get on with it. We do not manage the work. The client supervises the work.
- Once the job is done we invoice and collect payment. This is part of the service we render to the freelancer. We are mandated by the employee to act accordingly. The member is paid (minus our fee's) as soon as the client settles.
It's that simple. We do the leg work and save the production company time and money. The service is 100% free to the clients.
