I have been successfully teaching Final Cut Pro Certifications in a variety of Authorised Trainings Centres throughout the North-West. My teaching style is relaxed, humorous and knowledgeable, I have always received extremely positive feedback from students.

Present Self-employed, Freelance Video Editor/Colourist/Motion Graphics Artist

Since becoming freelance I have managed to build a consistent client base including local councils, advertising/marketing companies, filmmakers and educational establishments. Using Final Cut Studio I offer a variety of services including video editorial, motion graphic design and DVD authoring. I have experience of capturing and delivering to a variety of formats, through firewire and third-party capture cards.

On top of my editorial and creative expertise I have a vast knowledge of digital video compression. My experience covers delivery for the internet, batch transcoding, working with multiple digital video formats and compression for single layer and dual-layered DVDs.

Deadlines are my priority, but it is important to find the correct balance between speed and quality. I organize each project with precision, setting myself false deadlines to allow for the unexpected.

Building strong working relationships is critical to me, both with clients and colleagues. I understand the importance of keeping clients happy, but have the confidence to voice my own opinions and ideas, when the time is right.
